Chicago, musical

A fantastic artistic achievement!
Originally a play, created at the beginning of the 20th century, Chicago is now a Broadway classic, where this version of the show was first performed in 1996: since then, there have been over 10,000 performances, six Tony Awards, and the show has received more than fifty prizes and distinctions, as well as a recent film adaptation.
The musical Chicago, explores themes such as murder, corruption, adultery and treason with a heavy dose of cynicism.
The story was inspired by two murders committed in the "Windy City" in 1924, and the show has been seen by over 12 million people to date, proving that it is a true modern classic.
