Roger Waters began at the heart of the group Pink Floyd. In fact, he was the principal author of the album Dark Side Of The Moon, for which he created an explosive musical performance. His first solo album, The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking was released back in 1984. Still going strong, in 2005 he composed the music for a three-act rock opera.
A major event in Roger Waters's career took place on 21st July 1990, when the Berlin wall came down. More than 300 000 people attended a special concert entitled The Wall on Potsdamer Platz.
The Wall thus entered into history: 60 million albums were sold, a film was made in 1982, major tours and grand performances followed…
