The Beach Boys, 50th Anniversary Tour, concert

A wave of success.
Mike Love's legendary band has been adored by several generations in succession to secure its rightful place in the pantheon of greats in the history of popular music. From 1963 on, this quintet charmed the world with their lively vibrant brand of pop. "Surfin'USA", "Good vibrations" or "California Girls" stormed the charts, but it was the album Pet Sounds which really propelled them into the domain of music legends. It contained the immortal hit "I Get Around" and it was also the album that influenced The Beatles for their equally legendary Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Amazingly, 2012 marks the Beach Boys' 50th anniversary, and Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston and David Marks have reunited to produce a new album, entitled That's Why God Made the Radio, which was released on 5th June. The band proved they've still got what it takes and set off on a 50th anniversary world tour.
