Renoir, Impressionnism, and Full-Length painting, exhibition
This event has now finished

Nine key paintings by Renoir.
Nine key paintings by Renoir will be presented at New York's Frick Collection from February 2012.
This exhibition takes La Promenade (painted between 1875 - 1876) as its starting point, and explores Renoir's full length Impressionist works from the mid 1870s to the mid 1880s.
Destined for exhibition before the public, these large-scale vertical canvases are extremely ambitious. Visitors may view among others Les Parapluies from the National Gallery in London, Acrobates au Cirque Fernando from the Chicago Art Institute and Danse à Bougival from the Boston Museum of Fine Art.
