Top of the Rock, visit to the viewing platform

Up there with the clouds…
Situated on the roof of the GE Building, the centrepiece of the Rockefeller Centre, "Top of the Rock" is a viewing platform which is said to offer the best view in the city. From this observation point visitors and New Yorkers alike love to admire the famous skyline and see the city in a different light. From this crow's nest one can survey the whole of New York and the surrounding suburbs.
Along with the 86th floor of the Empire State Building, this is the favourite "photo-spot" for New Yorkers and tourists alike, however the view from the Top of the Rock includes the Empire State Building itself which perhaps gives it the edge!
You will also be able to see Central Park and Manhattan, the Chrysler Building, Times Square and the Statue of Liberty.
