Supported by Down Home Radio, the Brooklyn Folk Festival was set up in 2009 and each year invites the best musicians from around the globe to perform on the stage at the Jalopy Theater in New York.
It's a folk festival which includes Blues, pre-blues, New Orleans jazz, traditional Mexican, Greek and African music, and there will be a range of workshops and cultural gatherings laid on as part of the festival programme.
