Put together by the Lincoln Center working with the MoMA, the name of the New Directors / New Films Festival says it all… It is a showcase of the latest and greatest of cinema.
Some of the top directors on the market took their first steps in the professional cinema world at this very festival, including Pedro Almodóvar, Kelly Reichardt, Atom Egoyan, Spike Lee, Richard Linklater, Sally Potter, John Sayles, Steven Spielberg, Wim Wenders and Wong Kar Wai.
