The Generational is a triennial which has experienced enormous success since the very first event in 2009. Bringing together contemporary international artists, The Generational is an excellent forum for forming contacts, with over 25 different nationalities represented at the event.
A factor common to all these artists is that they belong to the generation born after 1976. This original concept is an important promotional vehicle for contemporary works and allows many young artists to make themselves known in the art market.
A complex generation that are often inspired, creative and experimental, they are not afraid to think outside the box and are at the nerve centre of current trends. This generation of artists do not hesitate to incorporate different aspects of the arts into their works, venturing into sculpture, video, live works or pure performance.
