WD 50 restaurant styled as wd~50, was named after the chef Wylie Dufrense. It is situated in the heart of Manhattan's Lower East Side. The cuisine is down to earth and inventive, blending the best of the world's gastronomic traditions. With mainly European flavours and recipes, the culinary techniques are nevertheless rich and varied, and the cooking is orchestrated by top chefs. The specialty here is a masterful combination of sweet and salty.
Louis Mueller, who designed the interior, gave the place a chic and contemporary look, with low lighting and striking artwork. The trendy and refined setting, together with the inventive menu make this a great choice for a business lunch or dinner.
