The other New York club.

A veritable religion in the United States, baseball is one of the most popular sports in America. Each event draws a huge crowd. In New York, two clubs operate in the Major League: the Yankees and the Mets. The latter, somewhat in the shadow of the giant Yankees, nevertheless have won the World Series twice in 1969 and 1986 and boast great players over their history such as Tom Seaver, Nolan Ryan and Gary Carter.

At the time of their first title the famous phrase the "Amazin' Mets" was invented by Casey Stengel, team coach. It highlighted the incredible feat of this young team. Since 2000, the team has resurfaced at the top of the league table, to the delight of its many fans!
